The teams and cadres of the Syrian Company for Oil Transport ( Environment Department) have completed the work of ending the oil pollution leakage from the Banias power station and are continuing to monitor the shore in the Scot's work area to combat any new spots

The Department of Environment will also hold a seminar in which it presents:
- The nature of pollution
- The type of the leakage material
- Detection of pollution from the Scot's work area
- Rapid response to pollution control
- Equipment and materials used
- Obstacles encountered in the work of the pollution control team to overcome the problems
- Lessons learned and lessons learned.
