Today, the Syrian Petroleum Company is beginning the process of extracting crude oil from the Rmeilan, Suwaidiya and other fields in Al-Hasakah Governorate, as part of a plan aimed at strengthening the stability of the energy sector and securing the needs of the local market.
The quantities obtained will be used to support refining and production operations, thereby contributing to improving the efficiency of supplies at the national level.
We are also working in parallel to rehabilitate the fields and increase their production through an agreement with a global American company specializing in the management and operation of the fields, according to technical and operational standards that ensure the highest levels of efficiency and enhance production capabilities.
