The first oil shipments after liberation arrive in Banias<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first shipments of crude oil transported by land from the \u201cAl-Omar\u201d and \u201cAl-Tanek\u201d oil fields arrived today at the Syrian Petroleum Company station in the city of Banias, after they were liberated and returned to production service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shipment included twenty tankers whose contents were emptied into the designated tanks at the Banias refinery, under the supervision of the company\u2019s technical staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The arrival of this shipment is a milestone, as it is the first of its kind since the state regained control of the eastern oil fields, and it comes as part of efforts to rehabilitate infrastructure and boost local production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
