The Deputy CEO of the Syrian Petroleum Company, Engineer Ahmed Qubbaji, met with a delegation from UCC Qatar, a company specializing in business and infrastructure development.

Engineer Qubbaji welcomed the delegation, outlining the company's strategic vision and proposed future projects, most notably the project to construct a jetty (JETY) at the Banias terminal for exporting crude oil with a capacity of up to 4 million barrels per day, and the construction of an onshore gasification unit (FSRU), in addition to discussing plans to build new storage tanks in the Banias and Tartous regions.

For their part, the UCC delegation expressed great interest in the proposed projects, and it was agreed that the company would prepare initial technical and financial proposals in preparation for reaching a comprehensive memorandum of understanding as quickly as possible, in accordance with work priorities.
